Like many others, I had my first piano lessons at the age of seven. My committed teacher often gave me the opportunity to play small public concerts.
At first my theoretical interest prevailed, and I studied mathematics and compensated for the "mental acrobatics" with my piano playing.

In Berlin I found the outstanding Russian piano professor Natalia Gussewa, who developed my pianistic skills. I obtained my piano diploma from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in London (LRSM Piano Performace). On the side I studied musicology at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. I am a member of the Germany Association of Musical Artists (DTKV), and from 2003 on I have been a freelance musician.
